Objective: To edit and create artwork for a twice-yearly magazine for members of RBLI's new Tommy Club – a membership scheme for those wanting to support Armed Forces veterans.

Deliverables: A4 glossy magazine

Approach: Working collaboratively with RBLI's marketing team to create a 50-page glossy magazine full of articles, news features and information about Tommy Club work and RBLI's wider role in the veteran community.

Tools: Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator

Comment: I have worked with RBLI for many years and really enjoy the 'free rein' they give me to research and develop high quality layouts and content to make this a really engaging publication.

Brand: Royal British Legion Industries (RBLI)

Objective: To create the 2021 Impact Report and Annual Accounts.

Deliverables: Two 60+ page publications in print-ready and digital PDF format, plus packaged artwork files.

Approach: The client supplied copy and detailed financial reports in Word and Excel formats, which we then imported in to InDesign and created a layout with additional images, pull-outs and infographic elements (created in Illustrator).

Tools: Word, Excel, Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop

Comment: Having produced these reports for the last five years for RBLI, we have established a smooth process and strong rapport.

CLIENT: Foothold


Brand: Foothold

Sector: Non profit, engineering

Objective: To create a new guide to support services provided by Foothold — a benevolent fund for members of the Institution of Engineering and Technology. This organisation had just undergone a complete rebrand (including a new name), so this was part of an exercise to renew and refresh all of their marketing collateral.

Deliverables: A5, 20pp brochure in print-ready and digital PDF format.

Approach: Copy was imported from Word in to InDesign and a layout created to follow their new brand style and 'grid' icons. Icons were edited and created in Illustrator.
